Have the cheeky chickens laid any eggs this morning? Our colorful chicken coop provides us with the best organic eggs, because Berta and Co. are allowed to peck at fresh grass, bathe in the sand, and soak up the sun.
If you feel like it, you are welcome to help muck out and feed our animals. Take a ride on the hay crane high up in the barn rafters. Experiencing farm life also means experiencing life beyond the clichés.
Our cats are true cuddle masters. When they're not busy hunting mice, they love to play, purr, and cuddle.
A little light flickers in our small chapel in the garden. The hope for a good harvest and good health for people and animals is deeply rooted in faith. Especially on a farm, nature and people form a unity.
You are welcome to help yourself to our herb garden. Create your own herbal tea blend and make your food even tastier with freshly picked herbs.
Sustainability we live by
Respect for resources, food, and energy has always been part of who we are. Photovoltaic systems, solar panels, and wood from our forest keep our home cozy. We separate our waste carefully as a matter of course, and no food ends up in the trash.
Flowers and all kinds of herbs grow in our meadows because we do not use our fields extensively, thus preserving natural biodiversity.
